Global African Community Initiative was formed in 2020 by a group of Kenyan and African American  community leaders concerned with the lack of resources available to improve the health of communities in the African Diaspora.  We formed the organization for the primary purpose of alleviating the suffering of people of African descent worldwide. Exploitation of African people and their land and resources has long been the root cause of poverty in Africa. On a global scale, historical bias has been at the root of disparities in health, wealth, environmental quality and education among people of African descent.
